Parliament suspends sitting for three weeks over more covid-19 infections recorded in the house. Per reports, 17 Members of Parliament and over 150 staff have contracted the virus. According to Speaker of Parliament, A.S.K Bagbin, The House will resume sittings on March 2, 2021. However, the Appointments Committee shall be allowed to vet the ministerial nominees beginning Wednesday, February 10, 2021.
